Barbourville House of Prayer 24/7

The Barbourville House of Prayer (BHOP) is a 24/7 Prayer Room located in Barbourville, KY in affiliation with North Main Community Church. People gather in this prayer room seven days a week for Prayer and Worship.

Heb. 13:15--"By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name."

At the heart of all our church functions is our 24/7 prayer room. It is open 24hrs a day to anyone who wants to pray and worship the Lord. BHOP is a place where the people of God unite and worship the Lord, with a desire to see God glorified through his body [his church]

Lk 18:7--"And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him…"

God is looking for a people who by faith, will believe that God hear and answers the prayers of his people.

The Barbourville House of Prayer in Barbourville, Kentucky is a place of refuge for Christians in our community. It’s a place where true believers can seek God and worship him freely. Worship leaders sing nightly from 6:00-8:00 PM and everyone is invited to join us as we pray for our community and nation--that the Lord’s will be done in these last days.

When we first started the prayer room, I was excited to have a place where Christians could come together and worship God freely. It is a privilege to have a place to get away with Christ and to find that intimacy that our hearts long for. He is the almighty and the word of God tells us to never cease to pray.  The book of James, chapter 5, lets us know that the prayers of a righteous man availeth much. By this, we can have confidence that God hears us when we pray and He answers us. A prayer room is not required to pray, but it is a blessing to have such a place. I love it when I step into the prayer room and see my brothers and sisters in Christ already praying on my behalf and on the behalf of others, that the Lord’s will be done in all of our lives. This is the true mark of a Christian; someone who is given over to a life of service and prayer for others. The prayer room has been an inspiration to me and others to live this kind of life. I seek to lay my life down so that others may have life, just as Christ did for me.
